WMOR takes a keen interest in working with architectural charities. As part of this ongoing commitment we have undertaken research and design work to produce prototype shelters for a number of harsh and challenging environments. We have worked to briefs from charities including Article 25 and The Red Cross to produce concepts and testable prototypes. Through our previous work with vernacular architecture we have been able to translate these theories into structures that we have taken for testing across expeditions to the seven summits and the South Pole.

This shelter was produced in conjunction with manufactured for us by Alpkit and we designed it to be a semi-permanent shelter using local materials for structure and insulation.
