Adventures in Design & Architecture
We like to approach every client project we undertake as something of an adventure. Yes, it needs to be fun and rewarding for everyone involved. But we believe an inspiring goal can only be achieved if underpinned by rigorous planning, teamwork, trust, resourcefulness, determination and experience.
The inspiration to launch our business came on an expedition to DRC Congo in Africa (located at 0° North), where we designed an award-winning shelter for patients to queue for inoculations with protection from the elements.
Since then we have applied the same creativity and resoluteness to all of our projects, whether it’s tunneling under Grade II listed buildings, designing arctic tents to withstand the elements, developing a feature two storey wine rack or creating an indoor assault course.
THE 7 VALUES OF OUR ADVENTURES IN ARCHITECTURE
We start with a creative vision; a unique and challenging objective beyond where we or our clients have been before.
Every challenge should be broken down into individual achievable elements that can be planned and resourced; for us even a large journey is a series of small steps.
Trust is essential when embarking on pioneering ventures. We earn trust through demonstrable commitment, work ethic and passion to translate a shared vision into reality.
No challenge is undertaken by an individual; even solo endeavours. We always work as a team of trusted professionals with every member crucially selected. We leverage the unique skill sets of each to ensure our client’s summit success.
Challenging objectives always have evolving elements that cannot be foreseen and as such we position ourselves to react quickly to changes and new information. This is what sets apart success from failure.
Challenges by their very nature are designed to test. It is having the determination to continue on despite adversity that differentiates us, we always find a way to realise our shared vision
We recognise the equal value of depth and breadth of experience in the individual and supporting network. Even when embarking on something entirely new we utilise learning and knowledge from previous experiences and two decades of professional success.
